Software projects at the Institute of Control Theory
At the Institute of Control Theory several software packages for research and teaching purposes are developed and maintained. They are published as open source software and free to download. Feedback is very welcome.
Software for Teaching and Research in Control Theory
To support teaching and research we develop and maintain the following software packages (mainly relying on the Python programming language):
- PyPlane: Analysis of second order dynamical systems in the phase plane.
- PyManipulator: Symmetry- and maneuver based equilibrium transition of the underactuated 2-dof manipulator.
- PyMBS: Modelling and simulation of rigid multibody systems.
- PyTrajectory: Calculation of transition trajectories by solving boundary value problems.
- PyControlTools: Collection of algorithms and auxiliary functions for task from the field of control theory.
- PyMoskito: Modular simulation environment for controller design, controller test and 3d visualization.
- PyInduct: Toolbox for simulation and controller design of infinite dimensional systems (systems with distributed parameters).
