interdisciplinary lecture series
In the School of Engineering Sciences, we not only want to study and work in individual disciplines, but in research and teaching we deal with complex problems that go far beyond the boundaries of a particular subject. This is why we understand interdisciplinarity to be a competence in scientific work acquired through interdisciplinary exchange and discourse. By looking beyond the boundaries of one's own specialist area, we can jointly develop solutions to problems in theory and practice that are appropriate to the complexity of the subject and broaden our own horizons.
