The project Z01 comprises the overall CRC coordination as well as the scientific and structural support of the research program. Like within the other projects those tasks are managed by a couple of administrative staff members.

The Program Manager supports the CRC speaker regarding organizational duties, administrates the central funds and coordinates all structural measures such as the guest researcher program, the managing of relations within all projects, the taking care of the Strategic Advisors and the organization of measures for compatibility of family and research.

Scientifically the central project deals with the system spanning aspects which result from interconnections of the projects and from the realization, verification and advancement of the planned case studies.
