Module exams
Students of Computer Science in the teaching profession please refer to the examination schedule of the faculty for examination dates and locations.
All organisational examination matters concerning the teaching profession are handled centrally by the Centralised Teacher Examination Office at the ZLSB.
State examinations
The entire organisation of the first state examination, i.e. its planning, implementation and assessment, is in the hands of the Free State of Saxony. Students of the TU Dresden can find detailed information on the LASUB Dresden website: https://www.lehrerbildung.sachsen.de/24708.htm.
State examination in Computer Science
If you decide to take an examination in Computer Science, please note that it consists of two equally sized examination parts from two different sub-areas of Computer Science. Depending on the chosen subject area, you can also select two examiners in the registration process for the examination.
When selecting subfields of computer science, examiners are available for the following specific subject areas:
Assume that examiners usually examine the contents in the state examination that were taught in the courses by the respective persons. If you have any questions regarding the selection of examiners, please always contact your subject advisor first.
At the latest one month before the examination, you should then contact the selected examiner directly and ask for a specification of the content-related examination requirements within the framework of a consultation.
State examination in Didactics of Computer Science
If you decide to take an exam in Didactics of Computer Science, you will take it with the examiner Prof. Dr. Nadine Bergner. There is a list of topics for the state examination, which is updated every semester: Topic list for SoSe 2023. Approximately one month before the exam, there is a consultation for preparation. In order to get the current material (specifications, presentations, videos) from the module "Fachdidaktik Informatik - Grundlagen" it is recommended to register in the current OPAL course as a guest. For communication you will be invited (after the registrations are assigned by LaSuB) to a matrix room.
