Introduction
OxySep is a subunit within the SINEWAVE project that is worked together by TU Dresden and HZDR. OxySep deals with the optimization of oxygen separation and heat transfer in the anode circuit of the new generation of PEM electrolysers. The high current density leads to a high gas content. This enters new and hitherto misunderstood operating ranges characterized by altered bubble formation due to high supersaturations, large gas contents and significant temperature increases in the ultrapure water.
Subproject:
Ensemble dynamics of O2 bubbles at functionalized surfaces
Radiography of gas-liquid two-phase flows in porous materials
