Companies visit the ILK
Besucher der Unternehmensreise der Gesellschaft zur Wirtschafts- und Strukturförderung im Märkischen Kreis mbH (GWS)
As part of a business trip entitled "The Future of 3D Printing", representatives of small and medium-sized companies in South Westphalia visited the Lightweighting Campus of the TU Dresden. In the Lightweight Design Innovation Centre (LIZ), ILK scientists Thomas Behnisch and Christian Vogel presented the institute's equipment and expertise in additive manufacturing to the guests and discussed with them the possibilities and opportunities, but also the challenges, that these manufacturing processes have for SMEs.
The Gesellschaft zur Wirtschafts- und Strukturförderung im Märkischen Kreis mbH (GWS), organised the visit, which was attended by suppliers from the automotive and automotive industries, medical technology, toolmaking, electrical engineering and sensor technology and processors of metals, plastics and other materials.
