MW-VNT-78 Technology of wood-based material production and paper production
Qualification goals
Students have basic process and processing technology knowledge of the possibilities of forming wood and fiber materials and paper. They will be able to assess process engineering aspects and have the competence to describe the technological processes for the production of wood and fiber materials including paper, cardboard and paperboard and can evaluate the production processes in terms of materials, energy, economy and safety.
Contents
Contents of the module are the most important technologies including machines and plants for the production of wood and fiber materials as well as paper, process and process-technical possibilities of forming, modifying and tempering wood and fiber materials and paper, processes for the provision of raw materials, processes for the production of structural elements, possibilities for their manipulation or modification as well as processes and technologies for material structure formation, forming and tempering.
