Students have basic knowledge of the processes involved in paper processing, paper processing machines and printing technology as well as in-depth knowledge of the basic paper technology processes of combining, printing, separating, joining, forming and the complex structure of paper processing machines and systems. Students are able to apply the basic processes of paper processing to manufacture paper products and know the basic structure and function of the associated machines and units.
Contents
The module covers both processes and systems for processing paper, cardboard and composite materials as well as other finishing technologies. This also includes selected test methods, in particular the separating processes, the forming processes, the joining processes and the combination of materials for the manufacture of paper-cardboard products, the basics and processes of printing on paper, in particular the generation and processing of color information and various conventional and digital printing processes.
