The international regional ambassadors of TU Dresden
Would you like to get first-hand information about your host country?
Ask someone who knows their way around the local area: More than 470 TUD alumni are regional ambassadors. They have returned to their home countries after finishing their studies and are available there as a point of contact. They make it easier to get started locally, they provide information on conditions in the host country, help to arrange internships or support in finding contacts.
Getting in touch is very easy: On an interactive world map, markers indicate the places where the regional ambassadors live. A short profile is available for each one, which also helps you to get in touch with them easily:

Are you already studying a main degree course in mechanical engineering, materials science or process and natural materials technology and would like to explore a new culture? If so, you can participate in our exchange programme with Tongji University Shanghai and complete a one or two-semester stay abroad.
Gain valuable experience abroad in one of the largest cities in the world and learn about the Chinese language and culture. As a participant in the exchange programme you are generally exempt from application and tuition fees. Lectures are provided in Chinese, German and English. Feeling homesick?
