Participants of the Research Experience Program receive a monthly scholarship of €950 which covers accomodation, cost of living and insurance. Aditionally, they are provided with a one-time travel subsidy of €300.

The scholarship covers the following estimated monthly costs:

• accommodation: €350
• cost of living: €450
• health insurance: €80
• accident insurance and personal liability insurance: €20

TU Dresden does not charge any tuition fees. However, due to obligatory enrollment, the students are required to pay a semester contribution of approximately €300 per semester. This fee includes the semester ticket, allowing students to use the public transportation system throughout the whole state of Saxony.
