Conditions of participation Career Service Events
1 Conclusion of contract/ registration
A contract is concluded when written registration has been made via the online registration form. Registration for the Career Event is binding and obliges the participant to pay the applicable fee and to participate in the agreed form. Companies whose business areas include university marketing or recruitment/temporary employment are not permitted to participate in the Career Event.
2. protection of third party data and image rights
Personal data that students provide to the company as part of the Career Event will not be passed on to third parties outside the participating organization unless otherwise agreed between the student and the company.
Photographs taken during the event that reveal the identity of the participants require the express permission of the participating students. Photographs of employer representatives may be used for an unlimited period of time and space, provided that this is stated in the registration form. Consent is granted for an unlimited period of time, but can be revoked at any time. In the event of revocation, the person responsible for the websites will delete or anonymize the photo - as far as possible and reasonable.
3. exclusion of liability
The organizer or its representatives and agents are not liable for the achievement of the contractual or economic objectives of the company and not for damages and consequential damages or injuries of any kind that may result from participation in the Career Event, unless they were caused by intent or gross negligence. TU Dresden is also not liable for damages and consequential damages caused by persons who are neither employees of TU Dresden nor acting on its behalf.
4 Invoicing
Invoices are issued after registration or after the service has been provided. Payment shall be made without deductions within 14 days of invoicing, stating the assigned invoice number.
5. final provision
If one of the above provisions is invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. In this case, the invalid clause shall be replaced by a provision that comes closest to the invalid clause in economic terms and in terms of its intention.
