About EUTOPIA

TU Dresden has been part of the European University Alliance EUTOPIA since 2021 - a network of ten universities working together to break new ground in teaching, learning and collaboration. The aim of the alliance is to make European higher education fit for the future and prepare students and staff for social and global challenges.

EUTOPIA is one of the first alliances of the European University Initiative and has been funded by Erasmus+ since 2019. A successful pilot phase was followed in 2022 by the four-year follow-up project EUTOPIA MORE, which enables the expansion of joint study programs, innovative teaching formats and cross-institutional cooperation.

EUTOPIA focuses on openness, academic freedom and responsibility. The alliance creates concrete opportunities: international learning experiences, new mobility formats, joint projects and strong European networks. In this way, Europe can be experienced in everyday university life - across borders and close to the needs of students.

Teaching and learning opportunities at TU Dresden that are created in cooperation with at least one other EUTOPIA partner will be marked with the EUTOPIA label. This includes events from the Connected Communities (CCs) as well as offers from the new EUTOPIA Partnerships.
