Before departure
The general order of study
The French students spend their third study year (in Germany - second year of master studies) at TU Dresden. Thereby they study the same programme as the German students. It means, that they must attend lectures, practical training, and write a master thesis. The master studies are divided into two so-called module pillars. It means, that the individual modules are assigned to "Biologically oriented chemistry" (BOC) or "Material-relevant chemistry" depending on the topic. The acquired credit points will be split up between both pillars (MRC and BOC). Each student has to acquire at least 25 credit points (CP) in every module pillar. Additionally, at least 10 credit points in one ABM (elective modules) pillar must be verified. In any case, ABM are already taken into account through the study events, which were completed in France.
