Ultracold atoms is a vibrant field of physics which emerged after the experimental observation of the first Bose-Einstein condensate in 1995.
The low-temperature atomic vapors offer an ideal platform where theoretical and experimental advances work synergetically shedding light on the mechanisms of fundamental processes.
In this specialized course, we focus on the theoretical aspects of few-body physics which govern the gaseous many-body systems.
In a bottom-up approach, we will explore various few-body processes emphasizing their universal characteristics and their impact in a many-body environment.
