Dear participants, to follow the actual Corona-safety regulations at the TU Dresden the course Magnetism II will be given in a hybride form: 1. Enjoy video lectures: Please listen to and digest one video lecture each monday morning!!! I have setup a Youtube-playlist. Due to copyright-issues this playlist is not listed openly and cannot be found with a search engine! I will send you the youtobe-URL via email. Please register for this service on the OPAL course page indicated above! Then I can put you also in the mailing list for the individual video-URL. On the playlist you can already find videos for 13 lectures (i.e. each lecture week), partially seperated into several files. These are the videos I recorded last year. On the weekend preceeding the next lecture week I will eventually upload a new video replacing an existing one if I think it is useful. In these videos I will discuss the pdf-lecture-presentations, which you will also receive vial email together with the individual video-link. Please look at the videos before the online video conference! 2. Video conferences Each monday at 13:00 o'clock we will hold an online video conference for about 30 to 60 minutes. In this conference I will give further explanations of the physics and answer all your questions and comments! The link to join the video I will also distribute via email! You can join the virtual room starting 5 minutes before the official start. Register as a participant but not as a moderator! If possible use a headset instead of the built-in microphone and loudspeakers of your laptop to avoid acoustic feedback-loops. Also it is not recommended to switch on your own camera, since video cameras take a lot of transmission bandwidth which might hamper a smooth conference. The virtual lecture rooms will be closed ~ 15 minutes after the planned end. I wish all of you a successful semester! Don't forget to register on the OPAL course page! The lectures will most probably be given in english. (depends on the actual audience) |
