Dear participants, since the TU Dresden is shutdown due to the Corona virus epedemy until approximately beginning of May 2020, no standard live lectures will be given until the end of the shutdown. In contrast, we will replace the lectures and exercises in the following way: 1. Enjoy some video lectures: One day before the actual lecture time, i.e. on sunday evenings, a series video presentations will be uploaded to youtube. In these videos I will discuss the pdf-lecture-presentations, which you also find below for downloading! I will send you the youtobe-URL via email! Please send an email to register for this service to henning.klauss at tu-dresden.de . Then I can put you in the email list! Please look at the videos before the online video conference! 2. On mondays at 13:00 !! we will hold an online video conference for about 30 to 60 minutes. In this conference I will give further explanations of the physics and answer all your questions and comments! The link to join the video I will also distribute via email! The whole procedure is new for everyone of us! Let's see if it works ou well! You can join the virtual room starting 5 minutes before the official start. Register as a participant but not as a moderator! Avoid using the built-in microphones and loudspeakers of your laptop! These can cause severe acustical feedback! Use a headset or alternatively earphones and an external microphone. Also it is not recommended to switch on your own camera, since video cameras take a lot of transmission bandwidth which might hamper a smooth conference. The virtual lecture rooms will be closed ~ 15 minutes after the planned end. I wish all of you a successful semester! Don't forget to send me an email! The lectures will most probably be given in english if (depends on the actual audience) |
