For International Students: Working in Germany without a Passport While Studying (engl.)
Online-Workshop (BigBlueButton) - For international students only!
Teaching Language: English
70% of the students in Germany work while studying. Are you one of them? In this workshop, the German Trade Union Federation Youth (DGB Jugend) will give you all the necessary information about labour law and social insurance for working students. How many vacation days do you have? What happens, when you fall ill? And what does it mean to get an exemption from the pension insurance working a so-called Minijob? Besides these general questions, which apply to everyone, we will also talk about working permits as this workshop is especially aimed at students who want to work or are working in Germany without a German passport.
This event is a cooperation with the German Trade Union Federation (DGB).
Technical requirements: stable internet connection (chrome-based browser recommended), microphone, camera
