The teaching strategy project has met its final milestone for 2024 with the adoption of the sTUDies 3.0 teaching strategy by the TU Dresden Senate on December 11, 2024.

"We are ending this year with a great success for the structural development of teaching at TU Dresden," explains Vice-Rector Academic Affairs Prof. Michael Kobel. "I would like to use the achievement of this milestone to thank everyone involved once again. We have developed 30 action plans this year, which have been commented on and improved by a large number of stakeholders. This cross-status group commitment is reflected in the quality of the sTUDies 3.0 teaching strategy action plans," adds Prof. Michael Kobel.

The action plans were developed in the first half of the year on the basis of the solutions proposed by the teaching strategy working groups. The university public was then invited to comment on the action plans. Hundreds of suggestions and comments were incorporated into the action plans.

Implementation of the measures will begin next year. Until the end of the year, the sTUDies 3.0 teaching strategy team will work with various stakeholders within the university to achieve a number of further milestones in order to further adapt teaching at TU Dresden to the challenges of the 21st century.

The action plans prioritized by the University Executive Board of TU Dresden will be given priority. At the same time, action plans that can be processed by other stakeholders will be delegated to the stakeholders responsible. At the end of 2025, the teaching strategy team will publish status reports on all action plans.
