Admission requirements
To be admitted to the degree program, applicants must have completed a general university entrance qualification (Abitur) or a comparable university entrance qualification.
German language requirements
International applicants and German applicants with a foreign university entrance qualification are kindly advised to read the requirements for German-language courses.
Information regarding Studienkolleg
Applicants with a foreign university entrance qualification that does not grant them direct access to university education in Germany pursuant to the qualification comparability regulations of the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs must attend a Preparatory College (Studienkolleg) prior to studying. You can acquire the subject-specific university entrance qualification here. Further information can be found on the website of the Preparatory College (Studienkolleg).

General information about the degree program
The programme imparts knowledge in transport economics, mathematical statistics, and transport engineering. The main components of the curriculum comprise courses in business administration and economics adapted to the special challenges and needs of companies, organisations, and authorities in the transport sector as well as basic knowledge in traffic engineering.
Subjects include mathematics, basics of cost and activity accounting, annual statements and balancing, investment appraisal and financing, marketing, production and logistics management, micro-economics, macro-economics, programming, statistics and transport econometrics, traffic engineering, etc.
In addition to courses specific to their studies, students also have to take part in a four-week professional internship and have to acquire knowledge of a foreign language and general attitudes, e.g. international communication and presentation techniques.
