Admissions Office
If you have any questions regarding enrolment and application for a course of study at TU Dresden, a semester of leave or absenc, or the so-called "Härtefallantrag", please contact the Admissions Office. The administrative staff is at your disposal for all matters of study organization.
Inclusion Officer of the Employer
In close cooperation with the other institutions of TU Dresden, the current Inclusion Officer of the client Regina Hartung and Martin Heidemann ensure that efforts to increase the participation of disabled and chronically ill students and staff are fulfilled.
Peer-to-Peer Counselling
People with disabilities often have fears and anxieties, which makes it difficult for them to open up to other persons. Since November 2018, the TU has therefore been offering peer-to-peer counselling by Ms. Dipl.-Päd. Anja Winkler, who will talk to you from her own experience about various topics of everyday life and studies.
Nursing advice at the TU Dresden
One of the goals of the TU Dresden is to bring family and career into harmony. The independent care consultation by Ms. Susan Holbein supports you in all topics concerning the care of relatives and dealing with dementia. The offer also includes the possibility of an on-site meeting, lectures and seminars as well as online offers.
Writing Centre Dresden
Writing is of existential importance in scientific work, but not every student has the same possibilities and skills. The Dresden Writing Centre offers individual writing counselling and workshops that support both students and teachers.
Diversity Management
The promotion of diversity and equality at the TU Dresden is promoted by the Diversity Management. This coordination office presents all activities for the improvement of equal opportunities with the main topics gender-equitable equality, family friendliness, inclusion and ethnicity as well as cultural diversity.
Student Council
The student perspective on what is happening at the university and in the city of Dresden is represented by the Student Council. If you as a student also want to keep up to date with the developments at the TU and possibly even participate in shaping them, StuRa is the right place for you.
Student Union Dresden
In addition to their studies, students focus on social, economic and cultural promotion, which is supported on their way by the Deutsches Studentenwerk or the regional Studentenwerke. The Studentenwerk Dresden can help you with topics such as financing your studies, but also provides psychosocial counselling or social advice.
Central Student Counselling Service
Whether it's choosing a course of study or problems during your current studies - the Central Student Advisory Service of the TU Dresden helps with personal advice or various workshops for a successful time at the university.
Center for Continuing Education
The offer of the Center for Continuing Education at the TU Dresden is primarily aimed at those employees of an administrative, research or educational institution who want to promote themselves professionally. An important aspect of their work is the continuing education for inclusion, which sensitizes you to the perception of barriers in everyday teaching and working life.
