"Shaping Diversity" Audit
Table of contents
Participation in the Stifterverband audit is linked to the goals of achieving greater awareness of the topic of diversity and the individual core dimensions of diversity across the university, increasingly understanding diversity as a cross-sectional task and promoting change processes with regard to equal participation in the long term and sustainably.
The audit supports and advises universities in designing structures, instruments and measures to include diverse groups of people in everyday university life. It combines elements of organizational development with collegial advice and external support. Moderated reflections and discussions with all participants and potential stakeholder groups (university management, students, employees) accompany and promote the process within the university.
Framework concepts of the TU Dresden
TU Dresden already adopted a framework concept in 2016 with its 2030 Diversity Strategy. The TUD's Equality Concept (2018), the TUD's action plan for implementing the UN CRPD (2017) and the audit family-friendly university action program (2019) also support the development of a diversity-oriented university.
Auditor: Prof. Dr. Christian Ganseuer
Prof. Dr. Christian Ganseuer, Professor of Research and Innovation Management at Koblenz University of Applied Sciences and auditor for the Stifterverband , is supporting the audit process at TU Dresden. He takes a holistic, potential-oriented approach to the topic of diversity.
