Continuing education series in the winter semester - How can I back up, organize, understand, retrieve and archive (my) data?
Data is an essential component of research and therefore invaluable for researchers. Systematic research data management offers support for daily research practice and is a prerequisite for the reproducibility of scientific research and data reuse in the context of good scientific practice.
In order to support researchers at TU Dresden in this regard, the joint Service Center Research Data, a joint institution of CIDS and SLUB, in cooperation with the Graduate Academy, is offering a series of training courses in the winter semester 2024/2025 on the topic: "How do I manage my research data?"
Have the following questions ever arisen in your day-to-day research?
- What infrastructure can I find at the ZIH for securely storing and sharing data?
- How can I structure my data so that it is easy to find again?
- How can we organize our data together as a team in a comprehensible and clear way?
- How can I document my data and its history in a comprehensible and understandable way?
- How can I archive or publish my data for myself and/or others, i.e. make the data findable and reusable?
- How do I describe the handling of my research data in grant proposals?
If so, the training options offered by the Service Center Research Data can provide you with possible solutions. You can find the topics and dates in this overview. You can register via the Graduate Academy or directly via the Service Center Research Data (information can be found directly in the respective event).
If you are not a member of the Graduate Academy, please contact the Service Center Research Data by e-mail.
