Living Lab Lecture No. 12: FloodVis – Visualization of Climate Ensemble Flood Projections in Virtual Reality

On 7th July 2022 at 11:00 am our 12th Living Lab Lecture will take place. This time Verena Maleska and Marzan Tasnim Oyshi will talk about "FloodVis – Visualization of Climate Ensemble Flood Projections in Virtual Reality".

FloodVis provides the means to visualize potential future flood risks in Virtual Reality (VR). Displaying the results in a VR supports the user in understanding the complexity of the dynamics of the flood risk system and provides a sense of presence. In FloodVis, the user goes into a virtual environment to interact with the data and explore the temporal evolution of different flood events under the influence of climate change.
