Living Lab Lecture SeriesLiving Lab Lecture No. 11: Privacy-preserving data processing
(ScaDS.AI - Center for Scalable Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence Leipzig/Dresden)
On 9th June 2022 at 11:00 am our 11th Living Lab Lecture will take place. This time Maja Schneider and Anika Hannemann will talk about "Privacy-Preserving Data Processing".
In the first part, our researchers will talk about Privacy-Preserving Data Publishing (PPDP) and illustrate this topic on the example of mobility data by showing its potential but also highlighting the involved privacy risk when such data is being published. Privacy preserving machine learning (PPML) on the example of decentralised clinical data will be the second focus topic of this lecture. PPML is a subdiscipline of Machine Learning that deals with modelling on sensitive data while preserving their privacy. Privacy and a framework for the evaluation of privacy guarantees are going to be defined and, furthermore, an ensemble learning method for modelling on distributed data sets is going to be introduced.
The Living Lab Lecture Series is free for everyone.
