MATLAB is a programming and numeric computing platform used by millions of engineers and scientists to analyze data, develop algorithms, and create models. It is developed by MathWorks, the leading developer of mathematical computing software for engineers and scientists. TU Dresden provides all staff and students with free campus-wide MATLAB access, including dedicated toolboxes for various applications.
In this hands-on tutorial you will learn how to do Deep Learning in MATLAB. We will use deep neural networks to classify image and signal data. You will learn how to apply transfer learning and how to train a network from scratch.
This tutorial will be focused on the application of Deep Learning using MATLAB. You will have time to work through exercises on your own which will help you get started on your own projects. The event will also show how to use the built-in capabilities for Machine Learning in MATLAB using the MATLAB Parallel Server and show how to do deep learning with MATLAB using modern GPUs.
