MAST - Modular Automated System for DataTrusts
Modular software for data trust offices
The MAST research project aims to develop a modular software system that supports automated processes within data trust offices. Data trust services (DTS) are service providers that are organizationally integrated between data providers and data recipients. They perform a variety of services to enable active and simple data exchange. The goal of the current research project "Modular Automated System for DataTrusts" (MAST) is to develop a modular software system for automated processes in data trust centers that can be used in trust centers throughout Germany. Depending on the focus of a DTS, very different functionalities may be required. Therefore, a module manager is to be developed as a crucial feature, which offers the possibility to add and adapt essential functions in order to automate specific tasks. Standardized interfaces are to ensure a smooth exchange of data and information between the modules. Another project focus is to develop best practices for ensuring non-identifiability in typical trust center applications. These best practices should then be easily implemented by users with the help of the MAST software and the corresponding module.
