NFDI4Chem - Expert consortium chemistry in the NFDI
Digitalisation in the chemical industry
The vision of the NFDI4Chem initiative is to provide a sustainable infrastructure for research data management by applying digitisation principles to all key steps in chemical research. In this way, scientists are to be supported in the collection, storage, processing, analysis, publication and reuse of research data. To this end, a national research data infrastructure for chemistry in Germany is to be established based on the FAIR data principles in order to enable innovative and user-friendly services as well as novel scientific approaches based on the re-use of research data. To achieve this, the overarching goal is to establish and maintain a national research data infrastructure for the research field of chemistry in Germany and to enable innovative services and science based on research data.
