Text+
Preserving text and language-based research data in the long term and enabling their broad use in science - this has been the aim of the Text+ consortium for several years. The NFDI project now aims to establish a research data infrastructure for the humanities, such as linguistics, literature and cultural studies, focussing on linguistic, written and textual data. The network is initially focussing on digital collections, lexical resources and scientific text editions. As text and language continue to play a central role in communication in the sciences, all other disciplines can benefit from Text+, especially the social, economic, political and historical sciences. The ZIH is developing data processing pipelines and other software-based services to automatically process the data.
