NHR-Events

ZIH organizes various NHR events together with other NHR centers.

We kick off these special events in May 2022 with the NHR workshop "Research Data Management Exploration @ NHR and Beyond". In the workshop, we address current developments in the form of lectures and joint discussions. The ZIH has formed a research data management (RDM) working group together with the other NHR centers GWDG Göttingen, RWTH Aachen, JGU Mainz and the DKRZ. This workshop series is intended to stimulate the exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of research data management and we want to learn from each other.
Research Data Management (RDM) Exploration @ NHR and Beyond

The upcoming workshop Federated and FAIR Data in HPC of the `IG High-performance Computing in Earth System Sciences` initiates the exchange of requirements and experiences of federated and FAIR data management between users, HPC centers and NFDI.


Together with the GWDG, the ZIH is organizing the "Proud and Strong in Computing Conference" (PSCC), which will take place in Göttingen in July 2022. Alternating annually between Göttingen and Dresden, we welcome women and underrepresented groups to HPC.
 

Together with the GWDG, the ZIH is organizing an RDM NHR workshop, which will take place as a virtual event on June 14th, 2023, focusing on efficient data handling, data exchange and storage capacity.
