Research Data Management (RDM) Exploration @ NHR and Beyond
NHR-Workshop (Online)
Wednesday + Thursday, on May 18 and 19, 2022, 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm (Online)
Data-driven science relies on large amounts of data. New and universal concepts for data management are required in order to be able to master the growing amount and variety of data in the long term, while at the same time giving scientists low-threshold access to high-performance computing.
These concepts must bring together the aspects of the FAIR principles, traceability of data processing and user-friendliness with the requirements of HPC environments. Along with this, suitable environments for handling data and the associated technical services must be developed and provided.
This workshop is intended to promote exchange within the data centers of the NHR network and beyond: How far along are the individual data centers, which implementations already exist and what experiences are being gained? In addition, can a joint strategy be developed that also includes a coordinated exchange with the NFDIs?
