Digital puzzle tours

Fancy some quizzes in the Botanic Garden? With our digital puzzle tours, you can learn interesting facts about useful plants in the greenhouse or outdoor area. The information is accompanied by pictures, videos and questions - here you can guess, search and think. Points are awarded for each correct answer.

How do the puzzle tours work?

To solve them, you need an Internet-enabled smartphone and the "Actionbound" app. In the display case near the entrance area, there is a notice with the QR codes for the individual topics. They can be scanned with the app and then you can get started. Each tour takes about an hour and is suitable for ages 12 and up. We hope you have fun!

How were the puzzle trails created?

The digital tours were created by research assistants and employees of the TU Dresden within the framework of project funds for "Digital Learning". Students were supposed to use them to prepare for exams and consolidate knowledge they had learned. Now they are also available to the public.
