ARRIVAL
By plane or by train
FromDresden Airport in the north of the state capital, there is a S-Bahn connection (every 30 minutes with the S2 directly) to the main station (travel timeapproximately20 minutes). Alternatively, you can take the city bus 77 from Dresden Airport to Dresden "Infineon Nord" and then tram line 7 (direction Pennrich) to the main station.
Directions from main station
From Dresden main station,the institute can be reached on foot, by bus or tram:
- bus line 66 (direction Nickern/Lockwitz) to the stop Caspar-David-Friedrich-Straße
- walk from the bus stop: approximately 7 min, or
- S-Bahn line S2 (every 30 minutes, direction Pirna/Bad Schandau/Schmilka) to the stop Haltepunkt Strehlen, travel time: 2 min, 12 minutes walk
