Summary
Climate change and how to stop it is one of the major issues of our time, crfeating new challegnces for the economy in particular. Students of the specialzation "Sustainability Management and Energy Economics" learn how these challenges can be met. On the one hand, they deal with the economic-ecological optimization in companies and organizations, on the other hand, they consider and deal with problems along the energy value chain. They receive an overview of fossile energy sources, renewable energies and energy markets. In the master's and diploma programs, research-related insights into the functioning of electricity markets are provided and how these can be designed are discussed.
