In the 2021 - 2027 funding period, the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) will support projects that enable a smarter, greener, more connected Europe. Priorities include digitalization, economic change, the energy transition and support for local development strategies as well as the promotion of sustainable urban development.

Around 1.95 billion euros will be made available to the Free State of Saxony from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) from 2021 to 2027. The funding is based on the ERDF program 2021-2027 of the Free State of Saxony. The specific guidelines will be published gradually over the next few months.
