The ERA-Net ERA CoBioTech opened the third call “Bio-based replacement products, technologies and processes” on March 18, 2020. A total of 9 funding organizations from a total of 9 countries (Belgium / Wallonia, Estonia, Spain, France, Norway, Russia, Slovenia, Turkey) are participating in the Call 2020, including the SMWK as the only German funding organization.

Scientists from Saxon universities and research institutions can submit their applications until June 30, 2020 (already prolonged!)  at www.submission-cobiotech.eu. The minimum consortium must consist of three applicant partners from two countries. The evaluation is an one-step procedure. Funding for successful projects is expected to start in early 2021.
