The European Commission has opened the 2016 Call for Proposals for "Innovative Training Networks" (ITNs) under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions. The next call deadline is 12 January 2016. (NB: There will be only one deadline in 2016.)

ITNs support competitively selected joint research training and/or doctoral programmes, implemented by European partnerships of universities, research institutions, and non-academic organisations.

The choice of the research topic is open ("bottom up approach"). The max. project duration is 4 years. The available total budget of the call is €370 million.
