Academic peers meeting at JoDDiD.

🖇️Demokratieforschung, criminological research and didactics of democracy are sisterly connected in Saxony.

🙏 Prevention, educational work and root cause research go hand in hand if they are to be targeted and effective.
Three sister institutes were founded with the Saxon coalition agreement from 2019. They all work with practitioners, civil society and politicians and advise stakeholders in Saxony.

🎛️ The Else Frenkel Brunswik Institute (EFBI) at Leipzig University researches anti-democratic attitudes, structures and efforts in Saxony.

🕵️ The ZKFS (@zkfs_chemnitz ) collects data on crime trends and their perception in the general population and in public discourse. It contributes to the fact-based public perception of crime.

🧩 As JoDDiD, we develop participatory processes with those active in the field of political youth and adult education to find ways of communicating innovative political education and reflect on these together.

🧶 There are many intersections and synergies in the fields of work of the sister institutes. We explored these together last week at the sisters' meeting. There will be more of this soon in our projects. Stay tuned.
