#29 The format machine

When thinking about ideas for political education, things are getting a little more unusual today. You know those jukebox music machines that you often see in pubs in old movies? They just look beautiful! That's why this object is making it into our pool of ideas for the second time today (you can find out what the first one was about here).

Our idea: to convert a jukebox into a vending machine that ejects suggestions for political education formats. Behind the numerous buttons are not songs, but various criteria for political education formats. For example, the number of participants can be set, the distribution of discussion parts can be selected, controversy controls can be turned, reception habits can be added and prior knowledge of the content can be narrowed down. The machine jerks and shakes and finally spits out a small capsule. In this capsule: a suggestion for a suitable format that you can use in your next event.

The format vending machine is of course also conceivable digitally - and perhaps it is even easier to implement in this form.
