In the lab
In the JoDDiD innovation lab, new materials are constantly being developed in a wide variety of ways that offer alternatives to established formats, such as evening events with lectures or panel discussions. We work experimentally and produce our own prototypes that can be used by third parties. We offer stakeholders and providers of extracurricular education the opportunity to develop and produce formats and materials together with us or to support this design-based research process in an advisory capacity. The educational offers are to be understood as designs that are subjected to a repeated process of review and then further developed. Below you will find formats or materials that are currently undergoing this process. The "political Turing test" is a performative format designed to support political educators in promoting a constructive discussion of controversial topics and tolerance of ambiguity away from conventional - mostly confrontational - dialog formats.
