Before Study
Tradition and innovation, successful education and research, distinguished scientists and highly motivated young researchers define the profile of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the TU Dresden.
The faculty offers a great learning quality with excellent teaching and care from the professors and well equipped laboratories.
Our faculty offers 5-year single-tier degree programmes (leading to a Dipl.-Ing. degree) in:
and a Master's programme (M. Sc.) in
- Nanoelectronic Systems (taught in English).
Our research focuses: information technology, microelectronics, energy and environmental engineering, as well as materials science are considered exemplary in Germany and throughout Europe.
The following videos illustrate selected faculty's research focuses:
Research activities at the Cluster of Excellence »Centre for Tactile Internet with Human-in-the-Loop« (CeTI): new possibilities of interaction between man and machine. CeTI’s central vision is to enable humans to interact in quasi real-time with cyber-physical systems (CPS) in the real or virtual world over intelligent wide-area communication networks.
Our researchers conduct cutting-edge research for 6G communication networks and explore how 6G will provide new approaches for sustainability, security, resilience and latency.
