General Forms

• Forms for applications for all study programs, e.g. credits, change of study program, BAföG etc. can be found on the form pages of the examination office

• Application for admission to the master thesis
• Application for extension of the time required to complete the Master's thesis
• Application for issuance of the Master's certificate

Applications and evidence of module examinations 

Examinations in the Master's program are typically conducted as complex examinations. All courses taken in a basic or in-depth module are examined in a (complex) oral examination. Due to this character of the examinations, the organization also differs fundamentally from the examinations of the bachelor's program.

⇒ Please be sure to note the offers in the respective valid course catalog! Admission to the module examinations will only be granted if the courses specified in the examination registration are listed in the respective module course catalog!

• The registration for the module examinations takes place via the examination office by means of corresponding PDF forms. For the generation of the registration forms for the following modules, an Online Assistant (ONAS) is now available. With its help the form fields of the pdf form are pre-filled.
• Please upload the completed and signed forms to the online assistent ONAS as indicated in the e-mail you receive when having generated an exam registration. Please send all questions regarding exam registration exclusively  by e-mail only to !
  • There are 3 Basic Modules to be completed.
    • INF-BAS1 ... INF-BAS7 (in case you choose one of the application subjects in module INF-BAS8, please refer to section "Registration of examinations in the application subject (INF-BAS8 Application Subject)" for further information regarding exam registration.)
  • One Specialization Module must be chosen according to the choice of basic modules made.
    • INF-VERT1 ... INF-VERT7
• • A pair of Profile Modules must be chosen:
    • Application research: INF-PM-ANW / INF-PM-FPA
    • Basic research: INF-PM-FOR / INF-PM-FPG
  • The examination performances in the module INF-MA-PR Research and Development in Computer Science are taken per course (according to the course catalog). The module examination of the module INF-MA-PR Research and Development in Computer Science is proven by means of the form Proof of module examination of the module INF-MA-PR Research and Development in Computer Science. Please  submit the form completely filled in and signed to the examination office!

Registration of examinations in the application subject (INF-BAS8 Application Subject)

The examination achievements in the module INF-BAS8 Application Subject will be registered directly via selma from the winter semester 2022/2023 on.

⇒ Please note that it is a necessary prerequisite to have registered for one of the application subjects via jExam according to the requirements. (Please refer to the website of the Application subjects).
This registration is transferred to CampusNet/selma by the faculty responsible. In selma, students have to register for the corresponding modules as described in the instructions.

Registration and proof of module examinations in the compulsory area INF-AQUA General Qualification

The module INF-AQUA General Qualification enables you to "look beyond your own nose" by choosing courses from studium generale offer (non-subject-specific and graded!), language courses of the TUDIAS-offer or of the faculty according to the INF-AQUA offer of the course catalog  in the amount of 4 SWS (Area 1).
Furthermore, you complete a proseminar in this module according to the INF-AQUA offer of the course catalog in the amount of 2 SWS (Area 2).

⇒ Please note the offers in the valid course catalog! The examinations of this module are taken per course.

Registration of examinations in Area 1

• As of the winter semester 2022/2023, examinations in the language courses will be registered via selma (see the information on the web pages of the Teaching Center for Languages and Cultural Areas).
• Examinations in Area 1 that do not include the language courses but are offered by  the Faculty of Computer Science takes place via the examination office using pdf forms! For the generation of the individual registration form, the Online Assistant ONAS is available, with the help of which the pdf form fields are pre-filled. 
• Examinations in Area 1 that do not include the language courses and that are not offered by the Faculty of Computer Science are registered directly with the respective examiner. 

Registration of examinations in Area 2

The registration for the examination of Area 2 takes place from now on via the examination office using pdf forms! For the generation of the individual registration form, an Online Assistant is now available, with the help of which the pdf form fields are pre-filled.

Completion and accounting of the assessments of the module INF-AQUA

In order to be able to complete the module, evidence of examination achievements must be provided for courses in the scope of 6 SWS.
The module examination of the module INF-AQUA General Qualification is proven by means of the form Proof of module examination of the module INF-AQUA General Qualification. Please submit the completed and signed form including the required performance records to the examination office after successfully completing the examination performances in the module!
