Invitation to the Night of Scientists in Usti nad Labem on 27.09.2024

As part of the MATun project, we would like to invite you to the Night of Scientists on 27.09.2024 at the Jan Evangelista Purkyně University (UJEP) in Ústí nad Labem.

The aim of the project is to promote cross-border education and research in materials science and to link universities, research and industry. Participation in the event is open to scientists, students and doctoral students as well as pupils and people from industry.

As part of the Night of Scientists, the scientific profile of the UJEP with a focus on materials science will be presented. Participants will be given an insight into the campus as well as various research areas at UJEP in a guided tour from approx. 3 to 9 pm.

During the excursion, participants can also exchange ideas with doctoral students and lecturers, visit modern laboratories and discuss topics for a dissertation or thesis. The MATun project expressly supports student exchange between the two universities.

A free transfer is available for all participants for the trip to Ústi nad Labem. The planned departure and arrival times are 2 pm and 10 pm. The guided tour will also include a break during which refreshments will be provided and participants will be able to discuss what they have seen.
