Brief description
- General objective is the energetic utilization of fermentation remnants
- Investigation and testing of the efficiency of a new two-step method for fuel gas processing for its use in small-scale gas engines for different materials (catalytic partial oxidation and gas cooling - subsequent treatment)
- Successful test mode serves the preparation of a scale-up for a fuel capacity of 200 kW at the Combi-Compact
- Reactions in the fluidized bed cooler are determining for the development of gas quality of the complete gas processing
- Striven for mechanisms of action were proven in the fluidized bed cooler
- Considerable optimization potential in the plant technology and management of the fluidized bed cooler
- CHP could not have been loaded with fuel gas because of the unsuccessful setting of the WSK’s operations
- Derivation of necessary modifications of power plant technology
Test rigs used / special purposes
- Experimental pre-examinations of gasification of fermentation remnants at the co-current gasifier of the Dresden University of Technology as a basis for modification of the test facility and the layout and construction of the fluidized bed cooler [WSK)]
- Cool start up of the fluidized bed cooler (WSK) with different bed materials
- Hot commissioning and pilot operation
- Purchase of a CHP (BHKW)
