International Affairs at the ILK
International cooperation has always played a central role in science. Global megatrends such as climate change, digitalisation, urbanisation, mobility and availability of resources require cross-border solutions.
International cooperation and internationalization at the ILK
The world's leading scientists work together on an interdisciplinary basis to find answers to the questions of our time. Throughout its 30-year history, the Institute of Lightweight Engineering and Polymer Technology (ILK) has always been committed to worldwide networking and to complementing its own competencies with the expertise of international partners. On all levels - from student exchanges and visiting scientists to the implementation of joint international projects - a broad international network with leading research institutions has been established and is growing year by year. Our strategic focus is on building collaborations with established partners in India, South Korea, Singapore, China and Greece, as well as furthering cooperation with Poland and the UK in the areas of education, digitization, joint research, knowledge transfer and dissemination.
