General Assembly 2025 of the Indo-European Heritage Network at the TU Dresden
The General Assembly is the decision-making body of the Heritage Network. It deals mainly with membership questions, statutes and the election of the presidency and follow-up committee. In parallel to the General Assembly is held a scientific workshop meeting, gathering researchers with expertise in fields of importance to both Europe and India. Held annually, the venue alternates between Europe and India.
IST Lisboa hosted the 2019 edition in Lisbon, Portugal. IIT Guwahati was selected to host the GA 2020 but due to Covid-19 pandemic, that GA and other face to face activities had been suspended. IIT Madras, Chennai hosted the October GA 2022. The UPM hosted the GA 2023 edition in Madrid, Spain and the IIT Rorkee in April 2024.
The General Assembly 2025 will be hosted by TU Dresden in Germany from May 12th-15th, 2025.
TU Dresden was chosen as the venue for 2025 as part of the GA 2024. | More information here.
TU Dresden has been a member of the network since 2019 and has been represented on the Steering & Executive Committee by Prof. Ercan Altinsoy since 2020. | More information here.
By the GA, each institution member is represented by at least one person. Both, administrative and/or academic staff are welcome to participate.
