MW-VNT-91 Paper chemistry and pulp chemistry

Qualification goals

Students have basic knowledge of pulp production and pulp bleaching. They know the additives used to control production and product properties and are able to apply the basic processes of pulp production and use chemical additives in paper production.

Contents

The module covers the processes and technology of pulp production and bleaching, in particular the process conditions, the chemicals used and the chemical reactions in the various pulping and bleaching processes as well as practical application using the example of pulp production and bleaching.
