MW-VNT-93 Production of fiber composite structures
Qualification goals
Students will be able to implement the high strength and stiffness potential of fiber composites through robust production. To this end, they will know how to ensure fiber orientation in line with force flow and the necessary fiber volume proportions across the entire component geometry. The acquired knowledge of the interaction of semi-finished products, plant technology and peripherals in component production enables students to evaluate and compare different technologies holistically.
Contents
The contents of the module are the individual manufacturing processes in connection with the design requirements for the component, both basic and application-oriented, in particular the manufacturing processes for components with thermoset and thermoplastic matrices as well as the newer technologies for the automated production of fiber composite components.
