Qualification goals

Students will be able to use adapted design and dimensioning guidelines for the constructive use of technical polymers, taking into account the specific structure-property relationships and manufacturing restrictions.

Contents

Contents of the module are strength and stiffness-related dimensioning concepts, the typical design features for a stress and production-oriented design of plastic components, in particular the use of polymers in machine elements such as bearings, gears, rollers or couplings.
