ITM represented with 3 stands at Techtextil and Texprocess 2024
From 23.04. to 26.04.2024, the Institute of Textile Machinery and High Performance Material Technology (ITM) of TU Dresden will be represented at Techtextil and Texprocess 2024 with three stands at the Frankfurt/Main trade fair.
The ITM will give visitors to Techtextil and Texprocess a comprehensive insight into current work in the field of machine and product development along the entire textile process chain.
The Chair of Textile Technology at ITM will be showing the following highlights at Techtextil in Hall 12.0, Stand D41 :
- RR Raschel machine from RIUS, with a revolving weft insertion module newly developed at ITM for tubular binding implants in medicine.
- Interactive demonstrators, e.g. activatable textile membrane, wind rotor blade with integrated sensors
- new exhibits: in the field of composites, e.g. car door made of recycled carbon fibre, car mudguard knitted according to final contour, material-efficient and bionically inspired textile concrete structures, functionalized textiles
- diverse results of the textile structure and process simulation and the constructive technological developments at ITM
- numerous posters and presentations on the latest research activities of the ITM.
The ITM will also be presenting the degree programs in textile mechanical engineering and textile technology at TU Dresden at Techtextil in Hall 12.1, Stand A26 .
- Degree program Mechanical Engineering, Processing Machinery and Textile Machinery Engineering
- Master's degree program in Textile Machinery and Textile High-Performance Materials Technology after a previous B.Sc. degree
- Focus on Textile Machinery and High-Performance Materials Technology in the Diploma and Master's degree program in Industrial Engineering and Management
At Texprocess, ITM will be represented by the Chair of Development and Assembly of Textile Products in Hall 8.0, Stand B63 with the following focal points :
- Development and assembly of textile products
- 3D/4D scanning, modeling and recording of movement data
- Training in CAD software, body scanning and pattern development
The Institute welcomes its guests and is looking forward to 4 exciting and interesting days!
