Successful defense of the dissertation by Dr.-Ing. Christoph Richter

On 24.02.2025, Dr.-Ing. Christoph Richter successfully defended his dissertation on "Method development for the characterization of textile knitted constructions by means of permeability of light, air and water", which was developed as part of a cooperation between the Institute of Textile Machinery and High Performance Material Technology (ITM) at TU Dresden and the Research Institute for Textiles and Clothing (FTB) at Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences.

The doctorate was supervised by Prof. Chokri Cherif (ITM) and Prof. Ellen Bendt (Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences). Prof. Boris Mahltig (Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences) acted as an additional reviewer, Prof. Yordan Kyosev (ITM) was an assessor and Prof. Martin Schmauder (Institute of Material Handling and Industrial Engineering) chaired the examination board.
